Job Description
- Plan, organize, execute and document experiments to develop state of the art drug product processes in lab scale and non-Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) pilot plant for products in development and commercial phase.
- Contribute to maintenance and investments of lab instruments and laboratory infrastructure.
- Author and review technical documents (e.g. instrument/lab procedures) and provide input to scientific reports by adequate raw data documentation.
- Ensure required level of compliance and data integrity in development laboratories to current Novartis quality guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Professional education as a technician (chemistry, biotechnology, process engineering or equivalent) with min. 6 years of experience in a related field or a university degree in life sciences, chemistry, pharmacy or equivalent; MSc or BSc with min. 2 years of experience in a related field.
- German (fluent) and English (good command) language skills.
- Good knowledge/skills of laboratory and/or technical tools.
- Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical/chemical laboratory or manufacturing.
- Basic skills knowledge of software and computer tools (MS Office).
- Interest to work in a dynamic environment requiring flexibility and continuous learning.
