Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Senior Terrestrial Ecologist to join their team in the Greater Toronto Region. The role involves working on a wide range of projects including fieldwork planning, impact assessment studies, and preparation of technical reports. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work in the field as required but will primarily be an office position with flexible work arrangements.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a related role
- Post-secondary education in environmental science/studies, biology/ecology, geography, or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in the collection, analysis, and reporting of field data
- Experience in the accurate identification of Ontario flora and fauna
- Experience with obtaining permits and approvals under relevant acts
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Software
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- French language skills considered an asset
